7. Awards & Grants

Twenty young scientists who have demonstrated the highest levels of excellence and innovation will have the chance to win either a grant or award. Please refer the website for further details including eligibility and application process.

  1. IUVSTA-VASSCAA-Elsevier Student Awards

  • The IUVSTA-VASSCAA-Elsevier Student Awards scheme is designed to give partial financial support to postgraduate research students within seven years of obtaining their first degree at the start of the congress to help them to attend IVC-20/VASSCAA-8 and other parallel conferences at which they are presenting a paper.

  • The amount of the IUVSTA-VASSCAA-Elsevier Student Award is US$ 500.

  1. KVS Student Grants

  • The Korean Vacuum Society (KVS) will offer 10 grants to reward the most outstanding papers presented by young Korean students attending the congress.

  • The amount of the KVS Student Grant is US$ 350.
